  The purpose of the Diploma Programme (Programme) is in raising Ham-Radio activity and attention to expeditions to Crimean mountain summits.

Anyone who ever reached Crimean mountain summits cannot forget it. If anyone saw the beauty of the mountain landscape, one experienced amazement and admiration. The world of Crimean Mountains is such unusual and unique, that it can be compared to the landscape of another planet.

Mountain's nature is very changeable, it's severe and unpredictable, and as a result - attractive. In order to experience this amazement, see the beauty of Crimean mountains with own eyes and test personal character and strength - you need to visit this wonderful and magnificent world.

Never mind if your age or health do not let you to climb a mountain. By making contacts with ham-radio mountain activators you can apply for a beautiful diploma. And to receive it! You can visit activator's web sites and track they routes, virtually participate in real adventures, and touch amazing beauty Crimean mountains. Activation announcements are published on our web-site in News section.

1.CRMA Programme rules.
Any contacts with a mountain expedition to Crimean mountains counts for CRMA diplomas and awards. The list of Crimean summits that counts for the Programme is in the Summits List section. Valid are all contacts made in compliance with par.3.1 of this Programme and also contacts made by expeditions to Crimean mountains (activations) according to par.3.2 of this Programme.
    
2. CRMA diplomas and awards.
There are three types of diplomas both for hunters (who make contacts with a mountain expeditions) and activators (who activate certain summits): Award Class 3, Award Class 2, Award Class 1 and Honour Roll Plaque. In addition to that Activators can obtain the highest reward - Crimean Mountain Cup with the title Mountains Conqueror.
3. There are following rules for obtaining Diplomas and Awards:

3.1. Making contacts with Summit Activators.
3.1.1 Each summit may count for the Diploma only one time regardless of number of confirmed contacts, modes and bands. Contacts on any allowed HF/VHF bands by any mode are good for the Programme. Duplicated contacts are not acceptable. And also cross-band contacts, contacts via repeaters, and satellites are not acceptable for the Programme. 
3.1.2 For receiving Crimean Mountains Award Class 3 it is necessary to confirm contacts with 10 different mountain summits according to the Summits List.
3.1.3 For receiving Crimean Mountains Award Class 2 it is necessary to confirm contacts with 20 different mountain summits according to the Summits List.
3.1.4 For receiving Crimean Mountains Award Class 1 it is necessary to confirm contacts with 30 different mountain summits according to the Summits List.
3.1.5 In order to be honored on the Hall of Fame and to receive Crimean Mountains Honor Roll Plaque it is necessary to confirm contacts with 44 different mountain summits according to the Summits List.
Note! Only contacts made after January 1st, 2012 are good for the Programme. There is no end date for fulfilling Programme requirements.  

3.2 Mountain summits activation.
3.2.1 A mountain summit is activated if minimum number of contacts are made from he summit. Individual or team activations are acceptable. Total number of contacts made on all bands during a single time activation count for the Programme. 
Contacts on any allowed HF/VHF bands by any mode are good for the Programme. Duplicated contacts are not acceptable. If during a single activation operators make less contacts, than specified in the Programme, this activation is not count for the Diplomas and Trophies.
Cross-band and Cross-modes contacts, contacts via repeaters, and satellites are not acceptable for the Programme. All contacts from summits have to include sending RS(T) and the Summit number according to Summits List. Activator and Chaser have to use same modulation.  
Note! If activation from the very top of the Mountain (according to the Summits List coordinates) is not possible, some deviation is allowed. Activation report in this case has to contain and explain the reason of deviation, and it has to be limited by 200 m horizontally from the Top Coordinates or 50 m - vertically.
3.2.2 For receiving Crimean Mountains Award Class 3 it is necessary to activate at least 4 different mountain summits according to the Summits List. Minimum number of contacts from each summit is 4.
3.2.3 For receiving Crimean Mountains Award Class 2 it is necessary to activate at least 8 different mountain summits according to the Summits List. Minimum number of contacts from each summit is 8.
3.2.4 For receiving Crimean Mountains Award Class 1 it is necessary to activate at least 16 different mountain summits according to the Summits List. Minimum number of contacts from each summit is 16.
3.1.5 In order to receive Crimean Mountain Cup with the title Mountains Conqueror it is necessary to activate at least 44 different mountain summits according to the Summits List. Minimum number of contacts from each summit is 44.
3.2.7 In order to confirm CRMA summit activation activators should present activation date, call sign used, photo/video materials, GPS data (if available), and also a list of contacts in electronic form. In case of team activation, all members of the team should be mentioned in application.
Note! Only activations made after January 1st, 2012 are good for the Programme. There is no end date for fulfilling Programme requirements.    

4. Summits List
4.1. The Programme List of Summits may be changed upon requests of amateur radio clubs, organizations or individual Hams, who are willing o present additional materials on Summits. Currently we expect the List augmentation in the year 2014. In order to escape confusion, existing Summits' numbers will not be changed after the List augmentation. New Summits in the List will have new codes.
4.2 The Summits List is available on The Programme site (Click on the button with the same name).

5. Activators' Reports
5.1 Activators' Reports web-site aria contains Activations records according to the Programme Summits List. This area is helpful in making applications for Diplomas and Trophies of the Programme. Click the button to open Activators' Reports area.

6. Making an Application for CRMA Diplomas and Trophies.
6.1. CRMA Application may have any form, but it has to contain feedback information.
6.2. If electronic application is not available, it is possible to make a paper application, and send it by smail.

7. Receiving Diplomas and Trophies.
7.1 In order to receive CRMA Diplomas and Trophies it is necessary to send:
- a request according to par.6 of this Programme;
- a list of contacts with activators, whose reports are published on the Programme web-site;
- for activators - links to the web-site reports of activations and materials that prove reported activations (Photo/video records, GPS data etc.).

7.2 All applications go through checkup during two weeks. If the application is proved, Programme manager will contacts the applicant in order to clarify the method of payment/shipment for the Diploma or Trophy. As soon as payment is received and proved, Diplomas/Trophies will be sent to their applicant by consensual method. In some special cases paper QSLs or additional material from activators may be required. 

8. Diplomas/Trophies price.
8.1 Diplomas:
- for Russian Hams - 300 rubles;
- for Ukrainian Hams - 30 hrivnas;
- for CIS Hams -  5 Euro;
- for other countries' Hams - 10 Euro;
CRMA Honour Roll Plaque:
- for Russian Hams - 1300 rubles;
- for Ukrainian Hams - 350 hrivnas;
- for CIS Hams -  30 Euro;
- for other countries' Hams - 35 Euro;
8.2 Crimean Mountain Cup - free of charge.
8.3 Additional payment for Shipment and Handling is required on the bases of shipment method.
